The OP Loftbed was originally designed for college dorms where students would set it up at the beginning of the year, take it down, take it home for the summer, set it up in their room at home, take it down at the end of the summer, take it back to school, and repeat the process every year until graduation.
It even uses wing nuts so you don't necessarily have to use any tools. You will probably want to use a wrench and pliers, but that should be all the tools you need.
You can check out the assembly instructions to see what's involved. You will probably leave the headboard, footboard, and center mattress support assembled while transporting it, so you will just be removing and reattaching the long mattress supports, long cross braces, and long horizontal brace for each move.
